DMARDS Assessment
We provide a detailed assessment of clinical knowledge of DMARDS written by an experienced team of Doctors and referenced to national published guidelines. This assessment can be used to provide Local Health Boards or Primary Care Trusts with evidence of further learning and competence in monitoring DMARDs.
In-depth knowledge
Questions have been written by clinicians in both primary and secondary care, who have extensive experience of writing MRCP and MRCGP style questions for onexamination.com - one of the leading providers of online revision for postgraduate medical exams.
Performance monitoring
Candidates can assess their level of knowledge by answering a series of questions. They will obtain a naïve score for their first attempt. They may repeat the test after consulting the reference material to obtain a final score.
Evidence of competence
Following successful completion of this module, candidates can print out a certificate of completion giving their score and recording their reflections. This assessment can be incorporated into their personal development portfolio or sent to their Local Health Board or Primary Care Trust as evidence of their level of competence and knowledge of DMARDs.
LHB Satisfaction
LHBs and PCTs have a duty to ensure that all General Practitioners have attained a level of competence in order to participate in shared care of DMARDs. Each practice must ensure that all staff involved in providing any aspect of care under this scheme have the necessary training and skills to do so. This module is an effective learning tool for GPs and a means by which LHBs can confirm that such training has taken place and a level of competence has been attained.
